Guys you’ll be able to understand me on this….Women sorry you asked for it!  My wife actually said to me the other day when I said I was going over to have a beer at a neighbors house “you didn’t ask to go!”  I have to ask (as a 33 year old father of 3) to go outside and play???  I then decided to act the way any self respecting husband should by acting like I was 7 years old!  I spent the rest of the night acting like a child and asking permission to do everything from eating a snack to going to bed!  It didn’t fly over well but you girls need to just say you wanna hang out if that’s what you want!  Stop saying things like “You didn’t ask” and try “Let’s you and I hang out!”  Just a thought SAY WHAT YOU WANT AND WANT WHAT YOU SAY…and side note: we’ll choose you if we think there will be some lovin involved!!!

You know how I know Alley is my true friend? because last Friday (5-22) we were talking and I had a “shutter” that lil boog that flaps in and out of your nose ya know!?  Well Alley…in front of our MySpace Gangsta, A marketing person from Sam’s club and live on the air yells “you have snot comin out of your nose!”  Now a lot of people may have been embarrassed at this point but I gazed over and had a lil more admiration for my girl!  A real friend lets you know when you’re rockin some nose-nasty!

So my wife and I haven’t had longer then 1 night away from our kids in almost 5 years!  I know, I know….we’re due!!!  So that’s the deal: August.  Michigan. NASCAR.  Harley. Hillbilly right?  We’re going to rent a Harley (only because mine is really that comfortable for long distances) and ride to Brooklyn, MI to see the NASCAR race.  This is a big deal because I love riding.  I love sports.  And I love hotel rooms with my wife.  Enough said!!!

5 years ago today (May 18th) my best friend, hero and father died of cancer.  There are certain times in your life where you can put a finger on the date and say “my life changed forever on that day”…this is one of those for me.  He was a good man who loved his wife and kids more then anything.  He would lend a hand to anyone, friend or foe at the drop of a hat.  He would be the 1st to want to sit down and have a beer and chat about life with a perfect stranger.  Moral of my blog here is to love someone that loves you unconditionally today…Make the time to make the call to that person you’ve been meaning to call….give a hug unsolicited.  Here’s to you dad!

Yesterday around 3:15pm while my wife bored me to death while watching Dr. Phil…Wait let’s touch on that for one second…Why does she think she gets to monopolise the TV while working and I can’t get a lil TV time with no kids!?!?!  That’s not the point though!  I was watching about bulimic twins when all of the sudden my neck hurts.  I look around the room and Kelly says “have a good nap?”  I say “I didn’t fall asleep!”  She says “really? why were you snoring and you have that spot of drool on you shirt?”  You know what?  She was right…I had gone head down right there on the couch…sitting up…in the middle of the day.  I have become my grandfather Harding Earl Sr. nodding off while  waiting for grandma Flo at the pharmacy at Walmart!

I found after Gokey was here on Friday that he is a really good guy with a dynamic story!!!  He gave me a new appreciation for a show I had given up on after Daughtry got the shaft!  I will be watching for the rest of this season and maybe into next year as well.  Can you think of anyone you have seen in 8 seasons of this show that would make a better Idol then Danny?!?!  I think not.  I may even vote!  j/k!  Let’s not get carried away!  But Go Go Gokey!!!!!!!

I am doing my own motorcycle ride for Childrens Hospital.  I know, I know Mr. Poopy-potty guy on the radio doing something good for others!?!?! Say it isn’t so! I really am!  But this ride is going to have the “Wes” twist on it!

We are taking off from Milwaukee Harley Davidson at noon on May 30th.  We are gonna take a 3 hour tour (like Gilligans Island) through Holy Hill then end at Tally ho in Erin for the REAL festivities.  You can donate some money to take on me and the Harley’s Angels in volleyball.  There will be a silent auction. AAAAAAAnd a bikini (Be careful…I may be the one washin!) bike wash. All types of bikes welcome!!!  4 wheel drivers meet us at the bar!!!

One thing I did learn while discussing this on the air though….We could throw out the topic “who is the hottest celebrities in Hollywood” and you wouldn’t call…but throw out the “ugly” topic and you people take our phone circuits down!

It was a sad day.  I had to part ways with my Blackberry…..in a way.  I got a new one, but I had really grown quite comfortable with the old one.  Think of all the stuff we went through together:  My 1st “qwerty” keyboard.  It took me FOREVER to learn how to text with it!  I learned the “joys” of the internet on your phone (dirty sites A-W-E-S-O-M-E!) anytime any place!

And I dropped her in a urinal…and it still worked!

Now I get the joy of trying to learn a brand new phone.  It’s the same phone but they updated SO much on it.  You know half the numbers didn’t transfer…so I get to give the awkward line “who’s this?” “oh sorry!  got a new phone.”  and now I have to re-type all of my swear words so it recognizes them all over again!

Sad day.
