#1.)� NOT STEPPING AWAY TO MAKE A PHONE CALL.� The worst is when people do it at DINNER.� But if you need to make a call during ANY social situation, you should go outside, or go to a different room.

–If you’re standing in line at the grocery store, or sitting on a bus and you CAN’T step away, just be as quiet as possible.

#2.)� ARGUING OVER HOW TO SPLIT UP THE CHECK.� If you’re with a big group and you’re all on one bill, it’s inevitable that someone won’t chip in enough, and others will have to pay extra.

–So just be prepared to throw down a few extra dollars to make sure the waitress gets a decent tip.

–And if someone CONSISTENTLY underpays, bring it up later . . . not in the middle of the restaurant.

#3.)� NOT GIVING UP YOUR SEAT.� If YOU’RE sitting and a PREGNANT woman is STANDING, the laws of basic human decency say you should give up your seat . . . even if you had a tough day.

#4.)� ACCIDENTALLY DOMINATING CONVERSATIONS.� When someone tells a story, ask follow-up questions.� Most people tend to respond with some version of, “Okay, now here’s how your story applies to ME.”���

#5.)� GROOMING YOURSELF IN PUBLIC.� If something’s stuck in your teeth, deal with it behind closed doors.

–And even if you’re just sitting in your living room with a friend, anything you’d normally do in a BATHROOM . . . like clipping your fingernails or cleaning your ears . . . SHOULD be done in a bathroom.

Robert Schimmel, a well known comedian, died from injuries he sustained in a car crash a few weeks ago. He was only 60 years old.

He was driving with his daughter and 11-year old son. According to tmz.com, she tried to avoid the accident but her car ended up rolling over. They were both taken to the hospital as well. It looks like she will be ok and his son was released without any injuries.

I’ve always been a big fan of his work and this is just a really sad story!!

T.I. and “Tiny” were busted for felony drug possession after cops pulled them over on the Sunset Strip for pulling an illegal U-turn … then found a controlled substance in the car.

Last night I got to catch my first glimpse of how Milwaukee likes to party.  I’m impressed!  The Gaga show was insane!  Ms. Gaga has the ability to throw out a great message all while hitting us up with theatrical surprise after killer vocal.  It is refreshing to see a pop show that isn’t all lip-syncing.  Also, might I add, I dream of having thighs like hers.  Not a cottage cheese dimple to be seen.  I WISH!!!!!

Tonight at 6p we kick off The Top 103.7 Old School Jamz.  All of my faves including LFO, Hanson, N’SYNC…do those musical faves qualify me as a total dork, or what?!  I’m proud of it and I don’t care!  Can’t wait for this killer soundtrack to my weekend!

Adding to the already star-studded line-up of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are the likes of Usher, Paramore and Justin Timberlake. Usher and the Hayley Williams-fronted band are going to perform at the Chelsea Handler-hosted event, while Timberlake who represents his Facebook movie “The Social Network” is listed as a presenter.

“It is an honor to once again be a part of the MTV Video Music Awards,” said Usher who had performed at the annual awards show in the past years. “I can’t wait to perform for my fans all around the world who have helped to make this album a success and my being here possible. You never know what’s gonna happen on an MTV VMA stage. … I look forward to making it a night to remember.”

On top of that, it is also announced that Travis McCoy, Jason Derulo and Robyn will be performing never-before-heard mixes of their current hits with the help from DJ Deadmau5 who serves as this year’s house band. The other “Social Network” stars Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield are among newly-revealed presenters as well.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night, September 12 at 9 P.M. ET/PT. Kanye West, Drake, Florence and the Machine, Justin Bieber, B.o.B and Eminem will take the stage for live performances, while Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, Ne-Yo, Penn Badgley, Trey Songz, Ke$ha and Ashley Greene are tapped as presenters.

Things on Jersey Shore this season have been heating-up, but just like MTV’s The Hills, almost everything is fake!!

A producer connected with the hit show, who wishes to remain anonymous, says , the real “reality” of what you’ve been watching on your television screens…

“Everything you see is all well scripted by a whole team of people; The situations, the arrests, the cheating, everything is planned. Sammi and Ronnie are still together, Snooki’s “boyfriends” have all been planted, and the amazing one-liners you hear from The Situation are all given to him behind the scenes. We have to stick to a script or it would just get boring… The only thing that is real is when outsiders at different clubs get involved.”

I’m so shocked!! So pretty much Jersey Shore is JUST LIKE The Hills?!
