This might be one of the grossest stories I’ve come across in awhile, in terms of a “Who the (Bleep) does that?!?” type of story!

So this freak (Mary Bale of England), is now famous after being caught on video putting someone’s cat in a garbage can!

Mary Bale says she’s not quite sure why she put 4-year-old Lola in the bin. Lola’s owners posted the footage from their own surveillance cameras on YouTube and Facebook, hoping that someone would be able to identify the woman. As a result, Bale was caught and received numerous online death threats. She even had to have policemen guard her home. She told reporters, “It’s only a cat, I cannot explain why I did this, it is completely out of character and I certainly did not intend to cause any distress to Lola or her owners. It was a split second of misjudgment that has got completely out of control.”

Brett Favre is back in the building.

The 40-year-old quarterback returned to Minnesota on Tuesday, arriving in a private jet trimmed in the Vikings’ purple and gold with three teammates — guard Steve Hutchinson, defensive end Jared Allen and place-kicker Ryan Longwell — who were sent to Hattiesburg, Miss., to bring him back for one more shot at a Super Bowl.

Could this really be the end?  Is he for real this time?  Has Brett Favre really played his last NFL game?

Brett Favre has informed the Vikings that he will not return for another season in Minnesota, the Star Tribune reported Tuesday. (8/3)

Favre has sent text messages to teammates saying, “This is it,” league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Neither Favre nor the Vikings has confirmed the news, but a statement is expected later Tuesday, the sources said.

The Associated Press also reported that Favre is saying that he’s not returning this season.
