About three years ago, I read the best book….yes, I know how to read! It’s by author Cormac McCarthy about a father and son’s struggle to stay alive in a post-apocalyptic world. Really dark, but very moving. They’ve now made that book into a film that is set to hit theaters October 16th…you guys, this is a must see and a must read!!

I will admit, I love the Emmy’s…I don’t know why but I do, so between my trip to Lambeau Field and the awards, yesterday was a good day!!

I gotta tell you, the Neil Patrick Harris, from the best sitcom on TV, CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother”, hosted the show and killed it. NPH’s career began as a kid as “Doogie Howser, MD”. His fame got a jump start a few years ago playing a extreme version of himself in “Harold And Kumar Go To Whitecastle” before landing the role on HIMYM.

13.3 Million people watched the awards, that, as usual, pretty much went to “30 Rock” and “The Daily Show”.

Present Obama reacts to the Kanye West outburst at the VMA’s. More proof to my theory that Obama is the coolest president in history. Do you think President Bush would have a clue who Kanye even is??

First, let me say I like his music! But, as a person, Kanye west has a lot to be desired. If you missed it, last night on the VMA’s, Kanye felt Beyonce was more deserving of the Best Female Video than Taylor Swift, so he charged the stage, took the mic from Taylor and said Beyonces’ video was the best video in a decade. Poor taylor could not even finish her speech! Kanye was boo’ed and I heard he was booted from the show! Good!

E! News is reporting that Patrick Swazye lost his battle with pancreatic cancer today at age 57. Swazye, best know for films like “Ghost” and “Dirty Dancing”, was working and going through treatment. Find more info by clicking here.

If you watched that Sunday’s Entourage, you would have seen that during a security sweep of his house uncovered a stalker, from MADISON!!!! Why do people think that Wisconsin people are so crazy???

Geez Curtis, if you’re going to break in to a celebrity’s house, don’t forget your license man!!
