Adding to the already star-studded line-up of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are the likes of Usher, Paramore and Justin Timberlake. Usher and the Hayley Williams-fronted band are going to perform at the Chelsea Handler-hosted event, while Timberlake who represents his Facebook movie “The Social Network” is listed as a presenter.

“It is an honor to once again be a part of the MTV Video Music Awards,” said Usher who had performed at the annual awards show in the past years. “I can’t wait to perform for my fans all around the world who have helped to make this album a success and my being here possible. You never know what’s gonna happen on an MTV VMA stage. … I look forward to making it a night to remember.”

On top of that, it is also announced that Travis McCoy, Jason Derulo and Robyn will be performing never-before-heard mixes of their current hits with the help from DJ Deadmau5 who serves as this year’s house band. The other “Social Network” stars Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield are among newly-revealed presenters as well.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night, September 12 at 9 P.M. ET/PT. Kanye West, Drake, Florence and the Machine, Justin Bieber, B.o.B and Eminem will take the stage for live performances, while Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, Ne-Yo, Penn Badgley, Trey Songz, Ke$ha and Ashley Greene are tapped as presenters.

Snoop Offers To Give American Idol ‘Pizazz’

The rapper has been touted as a possible replacement for outgoing judge Simon Cowell, and he admits he’d be willing to step into the music mogul’s shoes, if they pay him enough.

Snoop says, “I like that show. I think it’s missing some pizazz and I can give it what it’s missing – if they get their bread together, cut me in and cut me out. I got to get paid.”

The superstar may be too late to land a spot on the show – Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is rumoured to be the first choice to replace Cowell.

Usher sings about her personal trials and tribulations on most of his albums, but up until now he hasn’t spoken about his marriage and divorce to Tameka Foster.

In a new interview with People, the rapper gets candid about just that.

“I appreciate the relationship for what it was,” he tells the mag. “Even though it didn’t work out, I’m glad we got together. I love her as the mother of my children; we just couldn’t be married.”

He talks about what led to the demise of their marriage, saying it began after they started having kids. “We’re two different people,” he says, “and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent.”

Despite their differences,  Usher says he and Foster share custody of their two children Usher V and Naviyd. “We had to put our issues aside and focus on raising them,” he says. “There will never be another mother for my sons, and I’ll always be their father.”

Usher also says his music goes hand in hand with what he’s going through in his life. “My music is about where I am at the time,” he says. “In Raymond vs. Raymond, I was going through a lot of things, and it came out in my music. My marriage fell apart and I was suddenly a single father. But now, with Versus, I’m singing about being a dating father.”

Even though Usher has gone through heartbreak and divorce, he says he could still see himself getting married again. “I still believe in love,” says Usher. “I believe in marriage. When I fall in love again, everyone will know. I’ll sing about it.”

They’re lucky that there’s no hard feelings, and they’re able to communicate for the sake of their sons! Most Hollywood divorces are a lot more ugly!

BRITNEY SPEARS is reportedly ready to tie the knot for the third time by marrying her current boyfriend and former agent JASON TRAWICK. British newspaper the Daily Star quoted a close source to the couple as saying, “They’ve decided to have a small, intimate ceremony, not a big media circus. They’d like to say ‘I do’ by the end of the year”. The superstar singer was pictured with Trawick holidaying in Hawaii this week, and if reports are correct, then Spears is likely to make the 38-year-old her third husband.

In 2004, the ‘Toxic’ star was married to JASON ALEXANDER for just 5 hours, after the couple bizarrely wed in Las Vegas. Alexander was a childhood friend of Spears, and the wedding resulted in intense media interest. However, the marriage was annulled shortly after, with the BBC quoting Spears’ lawyer as saying, “There is no marriage now. Jason agreed to this completely. They’ve made a wise decision. I know they care about each other. They are friends”. Spears then went on to marry KEVIN FEDERLINE, who is the father of her two sons.

The singer has now sold more than 100 million records worldwide, and – according to the Recording Industry Association of America – she is the eighth top-selling female artist in the United States.
