grammysThe 52nd annual Grammy’s are this Sunday and I have a a couple thoughts…

1st, I think Taylor Swift will have the biggest night in terms of winning… unless Kanye steals the mic again that is.  She had a huge 2009 and I don’t see it slowing down for awhile!

2nd, I’m eager to see the 3-D Michael Jackson tribute!  I finally just saw “This Is It” so I’m still I’m all about the king of pop right now!

beyonce_knowles_grammyThe Grammy’s are on Sunday night and Beyonce is leading the way with TEN nominations!  Taylor Swift is right behind her with eight nominations.

I’m thinking that Beyonce and Taylor are gonna kill everyone…and how ironic that they are the top two after the whole Kanye West incident!!

But even weirder…Kanye has SIX nominations!!

They air on Sunday night at 7 p.m. on CBS.

The Grammy’s are this Sunday night (On CBS) and I’ll be honest…I’m more stoked about these awards than the Super Bowl!!! Also great performances and drama!!

Here’s a re-cap of last year’s show!

Performances this year are going to be nuts!! Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift among the ones I can’t wait for! Plus, I think Taylor is going to win about 35,000 Grammy’s!!! Can’t wait.

Check this space for a recap of this year’s ceremony next week!

There is something for everybody at this year’s Grammys. Between Michael Jackson tributes (his kids are supposedly scheduled to perform: read below)

and songs to support the rebuilding of Haiti…you’ll definitely be entertained.

ps.. Don’t be surprised if Beyonce snags less than half of the Grammy’s she’s been nominated for.

EMINEM, DRAKE & LIL WAYNE TO TEAM UP AT THE GRAMMYS

EMINEM and DRAKE will perform with LIL WAYNE at Sunday’s (31Jan10) Grammy Awards in what will be the rapper’s final performance before he heads to jail.
The trio will be joined by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Lil Wayne will begin a year-long jail sentence for gun charges in February (10).
The Grammy Awards ceremony will also feature a performance by Green Day and the cast of their American Idiot musical, as well as a tribute to guitarist Les Paul featuring Jeff Beck.
Elton John and Lady GaGa are also rumoured to be performing a duet and organisers have announced Jamie Foxx, T-Pain, Slash and Doug E. Fresh will team up for an unlikely collaboration.
Reports also suggest Michael Jackson’s three children will also perform as part of a tribute to the late King of Pop.

Got this from one of my favorite sarcastic websites.  twop.com

These guys get it right every time, they point out things that you’re afraid to admit, even to yourself.  They are.. the master of calling out the fakeness.

neil patrick harris on idol last night..

Though I must admit I got a little nervous when I started thinking about how Neil would deal with Ryan, because he is such a little robot landshark of a person, crunch-crunch-crunching his way through the day, but he does a great job. And take note, because the way that he does this is by behaving both verbally and nonverbally as if Ryan is the most special, valuable person in the universe. Which of course he is, but this is also the secret of Neil Patrick Harris, who is a sun-dappled picnic under an apple tree of a person. Some people need to be treated as if they deserve the world, and I find that generally, those people sort of do — and anyway, you’re not going to get anywhere acting otherwise — because the best thing that you can hope for in a situation like that, where both parties have presence and are used to getting attention, is by taking turns. At that point, it becomes just as much of a relief to let the other person be On for a while, and the result is a love explosion. You just have to remember that pretending the other person is special is not enough, because that’s fake and everybody can see what you’re doing: You have to look hard and realize why they are in truth special, and then operate only on that frequency. Very different from being fake.

IT’S A SECRET: Bradley Cooper and Eric Dane Fall In Love This Valentine’s Day
Queen Latifah and Taylor Lautner (rumous about Taylor..not sure if the writer is correct on this one)   aren’t the only things gay in Valentine’s Day, the upcoming flick starring Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Emma Roberts, Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, George Lopez, Anne Hathaway, Topher Grace, Shirley MacLaine, and, probably, your mother. So too is the romance between the characters played by Bradley Cooper and Eric Dane. But, shock of all shocks, the important movie promoting people  opted not to bring that up in the trailer being pimped to moviegoers.

Valentine’s Day is 2010’s answer to He’s Just Not That Into You (which also starred Cooper), the Warner Bros./New Line flick that cleaned up at the box office over Valentine’s Day 2009, with a $94 million domestic take. But whereas the gays in He’s Just Not That Into You were relegated to playing BFFs, Valentine’s Day’s gays will have starring roles!

But ticket buyers won’t know that in advance, thanks to the gay-neutered trailer that’s still erily predicable from Hollywood. Instead of Cooper and Dane’s romance (Dane, photographed while filming, plays a closeted football player), viewers are led to believe Cooper and Roberts’ characters are smitten.

Does this mean gay moviegoers are going to skip the film? Of course not. We did mention Dane plays a closeted gay footballer player, right?
