DJ’s are notoriously egocentric and think they’re funny when they clearly are not.  I have firsthand experience with this on a daily basis. Read why Rihanna is not happy with this tool.

RIHANNA’S DJ RAGE

Rihanna stormed out of a party on Friday (27.11.09) after the DJ played a Chris Brown track.

The ‘Russian Roulette’ singer was reportedly stunned when DJs at the event put on a song by her ex-boyfriend – who was convicted of assaulting her in February this year – and decided to leave the London bash, shortly after arriving.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Who knows what possessed the DJ to start playing Chris? It was such a dumb thing to do. Rihanna had looked ready to party. But as soon as that song came on, she sat down and raised her eyebrows.

“She couldn’t believe how insensitive the DJ was. She thought he probably played it to get a reaction. She wanted to leave there and then.”

The 21-year-old singer stopped dancing and returned to her table, gathered her entourage and left the party, which was held for the launch of the new album ‘All Or Nothing’ by rapper Jay Sean.

Chris was sentenced to five years probation, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and 180 days of community labour for his attack on Rihanna.

For those of you that know me know I’m in love with Shakira. Her music is great and one of my biggest crushes! Even though Adam Lambert caused all that chaos with his performance, Shakira still gave me everything I wanted out of the entire show. Here is her performance of “Give It Up To Me” at the AMAs.

Saw this, cracked me up! (And whats even more funny is that they make a point of showing it in slow motion)

for attention. Welcome to a new era. Where everybody is frantic and uberdetermined to get some kind of attention.. any kind will do. There’s only one problem:  If everybody is raising their hand screaming “Look at me! I’m a star, I’m special! It’s all about me!.. please? me?” … then nobody is really paying attention to anybody but themselves.  As I hope that we quickly remove the narcisstic ooze that’s permeating our being, I don’t think it’s gonna happen anytime soon.  And Adam Lambert, you’re not helping.  Or maybe it doesn’t matter, because I didn’t notice his performance anyway.. I was focusing on something else, ME.

Adam Lambert’s AMA Performance Divides Critics: From ‘Ultra-Lewd’ To ‘A Delight’

‘American Idol’ star’s slink through ‘For Your Entertainment’ was clearly not for everyone.

If Adam Lambert proved anything during his sexually charged performance at Sunday night’s American Music Awards, it’s that he continues to give good headline. The “American Idol” runner-up closed the show with a polarizing set that drew cheers, jeers and a lot of dropped jaws as he unveiled the title track from his major-label debut, For Your Entertainment.

With a kind of mash-up of the top awards-show shock moments from Britney, Madonna and Christina Aguilera over the past 15 years, complete with faux-oral stuff (which was edited out of the West Coast feed), S&M play, bondage, crotch-grabbing, same-sex make-outs, serial hip-thrusting and even an accidental stumble, Lambert made it clear that he’s not the kind of safe pop star typically churned out by the “Idol” machine, but a self-absorbed, unenlightened cliche of 2009 and beyond.

Justin Bieber was supposed to make a mall appearance in New York over the weekend. It ended up being canceled as 3,000 people pushed and shoved their way to the signing. Five people were injured and one person was arrested. Here is the video:
